Frequently Asked Questions

What costs are covered in this program?

Our program will fund all aspects of your treatment, this includes: Travel costs, accommodation, medical visa (for required nationalities) doctor visits, consultation, braces, aligners, surgery, medication and recovery follow-ups.

Can a family member travel with me?

Yes, you are allowed to bring one family member with you to accompany you throughout the treatment.

Do I need jaw surgery or braces?

In most cases, underbites can be treated with braces or aligners. In severe cases, a surgery might be necessary. We will let you know after reviewing your application.

How long does it take to recover from the surgery?

Initial jaw healing typically takes one month after surgery, and up to 2 months later, you may resume more moderate chewing in order to help strengthen the jaw muscles, although prolonged chewing should be minimized.

Does it matter where I'm from?

No, this international program is for everyone regardless of where you reside.

Can I get the treatment in my own country?

If you are unable to travel, we will try to find a qualified doctor and surgeon within your country to take on the treatment.

Is there an age restriction for the surgery?

Surgery is appropriate after growth stops, usually around ages 14 to 16 years for females and ages 17 to 21 years for males

Can I get underbite correction without surgery?

Surgical intervention is only necessary when there is a more serious skeletal problem responsible for the bad bite. Surgery is our last option, we do our best to correct your underbite without a surgery. It varies by case.

Who takes care of my visa process?

We will apply for your medical visa and help you with the necessary paperwork.

Do you perform overbite surgeries?

Not at this moment, we specialize in treating underbites, our focus is people with malocclusion class 3 (underbite or double jaw)
