In most cases, underbites can be treated with braces or aligners. In severe cases, a surgery might be necessary. We will let you know after reviewing your application.
Initial jaw healing typically takes one month after surgery, and up to 2 months later, you may resume more moderate chewing in order to help strengthen the jaw muscles, although prolonged chewing should be minimized.
